IULM University (Libera università di lingue e comunicazione), was founded in 1968. It has four programs: communications, public relations, and advertising; translation, linguistics, and cultural studies; arts, market, and cultural heritage; and tourism. It has programs in political science, medicine, mathematics, physics, natural sciences, pharmacy, economics, law, engineering, and arts and humanities. It has approximately twenty thousand students.
